What services does your agency offer?
Free confidential advice, information and counselling for anyone aged 16 or over, who has concerns about their own drinking or that of a friend or relative.
Who can contact your agency?
Anyone. Clients can contact us directly themselves or they can be referred by, GP’s, hospitals, social services, probation, police etc.
What age range of clients does your agency provide a service to?
16 or over – no upper age limit.
Which geographical areas within Newport does your agency operate?
The whole of Newport but clients are seen at our offices in Palmyra Place.
What happens when someone first contacts you?
Clients are offered an appointment to see a counsellor within 10 days of the contact. All clients are seen by appointment only.
Does your agency provide prescriptions?
No
Does your agency offer residential care?
No
