Getting your daily dose of exercise shouldn’t be seen as a chore – it should be something to look forward to!
There are more types of exercise, activities and sports out there than you can shake a (hockey) stick at – it’s just a matter of finding some that you really enjoy doing. And remember, getting fit needn’t be a lonely old business – do it with your mates or use sport and activities to expand your circle of friends.
Once you’ve found an exercise or sport you love, it may well turn into a life long thing.
No matter what your shape – apple, pear, ruler, or hourglass – or current level of fitness there’s an exercise, sport or physical activity out there for you! Pick exercises and activities you like to do and choose a few different options so you don’t get bored. Aim to exercise most days of the week. If you’re not very active right now, start slowly and work your way up to being active every day.
