The most common symptom of testicular cancer is a lump on a testicle. Testicles usually feel smooth, with no lumps or swellings. If you feel something in one testicle that worries you, compare it with the other testicle. It’s very unlikely that you would have a problem in both testicles at the same time. But if you are worried, you should see your doctor.
Most testicular lumps are not cancer. Fewer than 4 in 100 lumps in the testicles are caused by cancer.
